Prospects for the procurement market

The procurement market of the solar industry has changed significantly over the last twelve months:
  • Module prices slumped, intensifying competition and prompting consolidation among module manufacturers.
  • European manufacturers were confronted by an aggressive pricing policies of Asian module manufacturers.
  • However, project development companies were able to benefit from favorable procurement prices and, consequently, to pass on the lower system costs to their customers.

New world record in solar research

At the end of April, German solar researchers set a new world record and consequently replaced the American research institution NREL who has been record-holder for 16 years.

The deadline for the voluntary exchange of the remaining Renewagy shares expired on March 31. As part of the squeeze-out procedure, COLEXON subscribed 80,192 COLEXON shares to former shareholders of Renewagy A/S.

Carbon dioxide (CO2)

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, non-flammable gas with an acidic flavor, making up about 0.3 per cent of the air. It is generated, for instance, when coal, oil and gas – in other words non-renewable resources – are burned.
