Status Quo: Conciliation Committee
Ever since the coalition committee passed the legal amendment to redesign the feed-in tariff on February 23, 2010, there has been intense discussion in politics and the media about the timing and extent of such an extraordinary reduction in subsidy rates. Now, further delays are expected.

Outlook for Intersolar Europe 2010
Preparations for Intersolar Europe 2010, the world's largest trade exhibition for the solar industry, are currently in full swing. The exhibition will take place from June 9 to 11 in Munich, Germany. The industry's main event reflects the dynamic development in this emerging industry and acts as an international platform for communication within the solar industry. For the first time ever, more than 60,000 visitors are expected this year. In keeping with its increased importance and size - helped recently by its acquisition of Renewagy, COLEXON will occupy a large stand (A 5.170) at this leading trade exhibition.

Growth in Project Business
In May, COLEXON achieved important successes in both its national and international project business:
On May 4, the COLEXON Group announced the start of construction for the Sonnefeld Solar Power Station with a capacity of 2.5 megawatts. Furthermore, on May 12 a project in Imola with a a total output of 1.0 Megawatt was connected to the local power grid. Other projects are currently in an advanced stage of implementation. The company intends to increase its international project business this year considerably.

COLEXON reports its results for the 1st quarter of 2010
On May 12, COLEXON Energy AG reported its results for the first quarter of 2010. With 45.6 million euros, the group succeeded in almost doubling its sales revenue in comparison with the same period last year (Q1/2009: 23.3 million euros, pro forma). They also managed to increase the EBIT significantly to 3.0 million euros (Q1/2009: 2.1 million euros, pro forma). This successful development is essentially based on the sustainable business model of the company, which makes it possible for COLEXON to react flexibly and efficiently to market changes.

Going Green Expo in Melbourne
During the last weekend in April, COLEXON Australia attended the Going Green Expo in Melbourne, the third successful exhibition appearance of the Australian subsidiary since its establishment. The company was able to approach numerous visitors extremely interested in the solar technologies - which are still relatively new to them - and keen on finding out more about COLEXON's products and services.

Australia
The Australian market is becoming more and more interesting for the global solar industry. Even though the installed capacity in 2009 of 70 Megawatt trail behind the market volume of other PV-markets, the country convinces with high irradiation values. EPIA sees in the Australian solar market enormous potential for the future and particularly regards the segment for small scale PV-plants as an attractive market segment.

Service & Maintenance
As part of its Service and Operational Management division, COLEXON provides repair and maintenance services for solar power stations. The company services both its own plants and those of other operators. By the end of 2009, COLEXON had serviced of solar power stations in the 40 MWp range. Negotiations are currently under way to provide service and operational management for other plants as well. A large part of the solar power stations currently being serviced by COLEXON are the company's own.
