FROSCHHAM solar power plant 4.2 MWp

In September 2008 the free field solar power plant with a capacity of 4.2 MWp was connected to the grid in Froschham, Bavaria (Germany). The 57,510 First Solar thin film modules generate approximately 4.51 million kilowatt hours of solar power. By emitting annually around 4,510 tons less CO2, this plant is making a lasting contribution to environmental protection at the same time.
