RAMSTEIN SOLAR POWER PLANT 2.5 MWp

In August 2007, the world's largest rooftop solar power plant at that time made of around 35,714 First Solar thin film modules with an output of 2.5 MWp was put into operation in Ramstein, Rhineland-Palatinate. This solar energy facility will produce some 2.42 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year, an estimated saving of around 2,420 tons of CO2 emissions.
