RALEIGH SOLAR POWER PLANT 255 kWp
At the beginning of 2010, a rooftop solar power plant has been commissioned in Raleigh, the south-eastern US. 3,400 solar modules have been installed on the 10,836 m2 roof of a water treatment plant that provide an efficient and environmentally friendly generation of energy in the future. The total capacity of the plant amounts to 255 kWp. 34 inverters convert up to 368,475 kWh generated annually into grid-compliant alternating current. Moreover, 368 tons of CO2 are saved from being released.
