HASSLEBEN SOLAR POWER PLANT 7 MWp
At the end of 2008, the world's currently largest rooftop solar power plant made of First Solar thin film modules with an output of 4.64 MWp (7 MWp incl. extensions at end of 2009 and 2010) was put into operation in Hassleben in the State of Brandenburg. Since then, the solar power plant have been generating approximately 6.9 million kilowatt hours of environmentally friendly power per year, reducing CO2 emissions by over 6,500 tons.
