DIERIG SOLAR POWER PLANT 830.4 KWP

In December 2008 and in May 2009 the three parts of the 830,4 kWp solar power plant Dierig in Kempten and Augsburg (Bavaria/Germany) were connected to the grid. In total the solar power plant generates an estimated electrical power of approx. 814,000 kilowatt hours per year. At the same time the installation will gain an annual reduction in carbon dioxide emissions of more than 814 tons.

The project comprises an investment volume of approx. EUR 3 million. The COLEXON Group is owner and operator of the solar power plant, landlord of the roofs is the Dierig Holding.

In total 11,268 First Solar thin film modules were installed. The substructure is a comination of Schletter components with a special construction developed by COLEXON. The inclination of modules installed is between 0 to 15 degrees depending on the rooftops.
