Growth in Project Business
In May, COLEXON achieved important successes in both its national and international project business:
Project Sonnefeld
COLEXON will once again prove its expertise in constructing rooftop systems, this time in Coburg: on May 4, the COLEXON Group announced the start of construction for the Sonnefeld Solar Power Station on the rooftops of SILAG Handel AG. The facility will have an output of 2.5 megawatts.
It is clear from the numerous projects carried out by COLEXON that the company has particular expertise in developing large-scale rooftop systems. If the planned changes to feed-in tariffs come into effect, then rooftop projects like Sonnefeld will become even more attractive for investors in Germany. This is good news for COLEXON, which is already optimally positioned to capitalize on this and meet these requirements.
Project Imola
After less than three months' construction, COLEXON has brought online a 1 MW solar power station in the Italian district of Imola on May 12.
The official inauguration took place on May 29. Thie key to this seamless and efficient project implementation - in spite of a long and hard winter - is, on the one hand, the experience and expertise of COLEXON's engineers and, on the other, the involvement of local partners when entering new markets. COLEXON designed and developed the solar power station in cooperation with its partner, Cleantech. Throughout the rest of this year, COLEXON will continue to expand its international project business. The Italian market will play an important role in this.
