COLEXON strengthens its involvement in the USA

In Raleigh, North Carolina, the project owner Carolina Solar Energy LLC (CSE) has completed a 225 kWp solar power station together with COLEXON on the 10,836 m2 roofing area of a fresh water treatment plant.

COLEXON consolidated its US business with the plant in Raleigh, as Thorsten Preugschas emphasized: "With this project we are showing that we are also establishing ourselves effectively in the international growth markets like the USA." 3,400 thin-film modules from the leading manufacturer First Solar were installed with the established Schletter WindSafe FR flat roof system. Every year the solar power station will produce approximately 368,500 kilowatt hours (kWh) of environmentally friendly electricity, which covers the annual electricity needs of over 100 homes.
