COLEXON France SASU receives commendation in France
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the region Côte d'Azur awarded COLEXON France SASU the “Leadership Prize” on April 19, 2010. The award is given to exceptionally innovative and successful companies in the region. "We’re proud of the award and regard it as inducement for our future development", says Florence Lamare, press officer of COLEXON France. The team Côte d'Azur of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce will accompany the company in the future.
France is one of the future markets for the solar industry. By establishing the branch in Nice at the beginning of 2008, COLEXON positioned itself in the market in good time. The first 1 MWP plant in Sainte-Maxime will be commissioned shortly; investor is the tnp Mitteldeutsche Verwaltung & Treuhand GmbH that has signed a framework agreement with COLEXON on on purchasing COLEXON plants with a capacity of up to 15 MWp until mid of 2011.
Instead of exclusively relying on the German market with the subsidies of the EEG (German Renewable Energy Sources Act) still being in effect, COLEXON intensifies the international commitment in, France, Czech Republic and Italy among others. Thus, the company adjusts to the changes to be expected in the German market and is able to act independently of the government subsidies in the future.
